Talking of butterflies and happiness, Birdwing is the butterfly with the largest wingspan and we believe photography is all about passion, pursuit and happiness. That’s how we came up with the name and the thought that photography is a surefire tip on our pursuit of happiness.
The Birdwing butterfly personifies elegance & ease, weightless travel and freedom. And we believe that is exactly what every aspiring traveller, adventure seeker, photographer craves for – and at Birdwing, that is what we care for. No matter what skill you carry, if you have the passion for travel, adventure and photography, you certainly have found the right partner.
We really don’t want to stand out from the rest; we just want our photographers and adventurists to have a hell of a good time. We truly believe it is imperative to understand the science behind the subject they are clicking, like of how a tiger moves and roars, how a monkey laughs and jumps and why a flower blossoms in a certain way – as much as it is important to know how a macro lens works or how to frame a moving subject or how you can play with natural light to bring your pictures to life.
