I guess you're a tutor registered with Urbanpro. (If not, please register, specifying your subject, location, etc.). Once this is done, you will start receiving emails whenever there's a requirement for tuition classes . You have to respond to the requests, speak to the students/parents, fix the hourly or monthly charges, and start teaching the students at your home or students' homes. No need to pay anybody else. No employer is involved here. No need to share the amount collected, with anyone else.

We can't conclude or recommend only one particular category or institute or tutor is better than others. Ultimately, it's the end-level tutor that matters. The tutor must be thorough with the fundamentals/concepts being taught, explain in an easy-to-understand way, encourage students to ask questions, willing to discuss relevant issues irrespective of the source (textbook, other book, questions papers from other schools, internet-downloaded, etc.)
Sometimes, institute maybe a reputed one, but the tutor for your batch or class may not be good enough or vice versa.

Fees may vary among different tutors from 300 per hour to 700 per hour. Based on the price quoted, one can't judge the quality of teaching. Some of the ways of choosing a reasonably good tutor:

* Read the feedback/reviews about a tutor, determine whether they can be most likely genuine from the content of different reviews.

* Request tutors for a free demo class, give a few topics of your choice and evaluate how they perform in explaining the concepts.

* Talk to neighbours, classmates and approach the tutors recommended by them.
