Bid-Ask Spread refers to the difference between the Bid rate and Ask rate quoted by the bank to the customer. It is a kind of commission which bank earns on exchange of currency from one form to another. For Eg. Bank quotes the rate of USD/INR = 83/85, it means that bank Buy $ from customer @ 83, but it sells $ to customer @ 85.
