IdentityNatya Dhaara Academy of Performing Arts was founded by smt. Padma with the vision to spread the art of bharatanatyam and to impart education on it's allied accompaniments. The Institute teaches bharatanatyam in a holistic and traditional way equipping the students with thorough knowledge on theory and practicals to make them wholesome passionate artists. The Institute has branches in Perumbakkam and Thalambur.
The artistic director and founder of the institute, smt. Padma is a professional bharatanatyam artist with over 27years of association with this divine art form with 17+ years of experience as a performer/choreographer/trainer. Since her tender age 5, she was trained for over a decade under the able guidance of Guru. Kalaimamani Dr. Uma Anand, daughter of legendary composer, Padmashree awardee, K. N. Dhandayudhapani Pillai. Smt. Padma is also a BTech IT graduate worked in the software industry for almost a decade serving IT service providers & Clients. She has completed post-graduate diploma in Bharatanatyam and is currently pursuing Masters degree.

Her students have given various performances including Guiness World Record events and have bagged titles such as Nritta Aadal Mani, Natiya Ila Mani, Natiya Kalai Mani, Budding star, Laya Chudar Mani, Natya Manjari, Kala Kiran and more
Students are trained to take Grade certification Program affliated to Prestigious TamilNadu Music & Fine Arts University. Students are trained extensively in both theory and practicals and her current students have been grade certified with outstanding results under her guidance.
