Hi Jayapraksah,
To overcome the hurdles with English communication, you have to:
1. Read the English Newspaper, Reader's Digest book.
2. Don'tworry whether you know the meaning or not.
3. Note down the new words you read and find the meaning from the dictionary
4. Start talking in English (right or wrong) with the people you are more comfortable
5. Watch English news and relate with the stuff you read in the newspaper
6. Watch English movies with subtitles
By the above practices continuously, you will become more confident about English language usage.
Practice makes a man perfect.

Here are a few steps I adopted:
1. Read English Newspaper daily and note down the new words and find the meaning.
2. Try to use them as appropriate.
3. Listen to English News(NDTV, NEWS Today).
4. Read Reader's digest.
5. Start a conversation in English with close members.
6. Take a topic and speak about the same in English before a mirror(This will eliminate self fear).
