"She is a good teacher. She has immense knowledge about the English language. Whenever we have any doubts she gives her 100%. She is very kind and friendly. Even though we have the same doubt she explains it repeatedly until we understand it clearly. I recommend others to take classes from her."

Tamil Language

"In the above options, the closest I could select is Tamil Speaking but I am actually going for Tamil writing and grammar classes. I wanted to learn to read and write Tamil with correct grammar (I already speak Tamil) and I was looking for an instructor who was willing to take classes for me at variable timings based on my other commitments. I had posted my requirements in the UrbanPro website, and Vennila took care to go through the requirements and sent me a clear response explaining how we can proceed with the classes. I have already went for several classes and I plan to continue studying Tamil with the same instructor. Here are some qualities that I feel make her an outstanding teacher: 1. Attention to detail: While I am learning to read and write Tamil, she takes care to make sure that I not only write the letters correctly but write them in the most efficient and elegant manner. Incidentally, she mentioned she takes courses on handwriting as well. I feel take care to check all details is one area in which she has exceeded my initial expectations. 2. Interest to learn and teach: If at times she is not sure she has the exact answer for my question, she offers to get the information for me, notes it down in her checklist, and generally has the answer ready by the time we meet again. I feel she has a genuine interest to not only teach me what is in the book or materiel we work with, but also try to always learn and address all questions related to what we study. 3. Valuing time: She has always kept to the time schedules we agreed on and in exceptional situations if she needs to take a break during the planned class duration or wants to start the class a bit later, she always contacts me as early as possible and keeps me informed of the changes to the plan. I would definitely recommend Vennila as a tutor. As always, any student should discuss their learning needs with the instructor before starting with the course of study to make sure they get the best results. "
