Understand Public policy issues in deeper sense. 5. Same time also focus on improving skills that are linked with your delivery / actual performance. Adding knowledge is good but unless you learn the effectiveness of delivering your knowledge with all accuracy, perfection and on given time and place, final success will be tough. So focus on your ability to deliver what you have learnt is extremely important. 6. Sincere and hard work for quite long time be ready.

It depends on your priority and the responsibilities which you are carrying at this stage of life. Your finance condition should meet this basic necessity of life at this stage. Everyone passes through this phase of disillusionment about the job and related aspects of life. So do not be in hurry, just wait for some more time and then take decision. Sequentially one passes through a number of phases. During first phase of job life when we work to meet the responsibilities ( self and dependents) which centers around basic necessity of life and means to secured the status. During second phase one consolidates and strengthens the position as one acquired. During third phase, one starts getting attracted towards real motivational issues of life based upon certain ideology or based upon some inspiration. This is purely your personal state of affair but there may not be any guarantee that even after joining the NGO, you will be in a better position to get this level of motivation and inspiration. NGO is also a platform and will have its own functional limitations and constraints, which your previous organization was carrying. Just by changing platform and again doing a job will not make big difference but surely you will get satisfaction of being associated with some social objective and social priority driven attitude of a NGO organization. Try to understand what exactly you do not like in the existing Job. You do not like the boss, you do not like your role and responsibility or you do not like the basic objective and working environment of that organization. Many of these conditions may create even in a NGO except that it is driven with social objective. Freedom to work and deliver is also an important attribute, which remains same in either cases but if you plan to start something of your own, then that will be the best choice / option at this stage. A small advice and request you to always remember that goodness and noble thoughts of your mind, may not be visible, may not be appreciated and even may not get expressed properly even in a very reputed organization because for that what you need is to have your own fund and your own organizations as that only ensures total freedom to you in bringing out the fire inside you with all honesty and nobleness. Considering this, I suggest you to act as per your priority and responsibilities at this stage and then make a change and work in a good NGO and learn issues and finally start your own experiment. Remember the book " An experiment with truth" by MKG. Best wishes.
