Hinan Ali

I have more than five years of experience in the teaching social sector in diverse roles including implementation, leadership, communications and research. Maths and Sciences are my forte. I have worked with organisations like the Centre for Civil Society and Anthropological Survey of India in the past, and have also taught at , Delhi as a guest faculty. I am currently taking some time off to work on longer-term plans and am looking to engage in short-term projects in the meantime. While my expertise is in qualitative social research methods and writing, I am also proficient in Excel, trained in SPSS, and keen to learn data analysis and visualization skills using softwares like STATA, R and PYTHON. My overarching interest lies in working towards questions of social, economic and ecological justice, and in the past I have worked in the education sector, the municipal solid waste management sector and with denotified, nomadic and semi-nomadic communities. I have a Master’s degree in Sociology and a BTech from NIT Srinagar.
