A bit about my ever-evolving education philosophy:
I prefer one-on-one tuition because they enable me to give all my attention to the student and that enriches the experience both ways.
English:
It's often said, and no less true, that English is a crazy language. In that case, I handle crazy well and even have an affection for it. Whether it's literature or language, I find all aspects fascinating, and being an avid bookworm since toddler-hood has helped plenty.
Experience:
I have completed a 2-year Fellowship with Teach For India, a not-for-profit organisation that strives to provide excellent education to those children who might not normally have the access or opportunities to do so. I taught Grades 4-5 in a low-income private school in one of the biggest resettlement in Asia. Not only did this enable me to stretch myself in terms of innovative methodologies, it built my patience too.
I am also a certified TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) teacher, having taught adults from a variety of nationalities how to improve on their grasp of English as a language.
