I am a student who is currently pursuing physiotherapy . I have done my piano for more than 10+ years. I have taken exams as well under the Trinity College London. I have done the practical upto grade 6. And my theory has been done upto grade 4. So basically I would start teaching the kids with the finger technique and placement. Then I would move ahead with the John Thompson's Part-1 Book. The book is very useful for beginners as it is explained very well and with guidance you will understand it completely. Slowly the student will advanced in level 2 and so on.
