Irrespective of your class or standard first try to memorise main periodic table which will be very useful to understand their electronic configuration,valency, reactivity, periodicity and other properties easily. Initially it will be hard but later it will save time as you put time behind it. Initially lanthanides and actinides keep aside. Later depending on your nrequirement try to add. As a beginner please concentrate to memorise main periodic table.
