Hindi is extremely simplified Sanskrit. Due to this simplicity it's mutually intelligible with most of north India languages. Hindi is extremely simplified Sanskrit. Due to this simplicity it's mutually intelligible with most of north India languages. Hindi may not have comparable vocabulary, but it is accepting vocabulary from older languages. Tamil has advantage of being very old language. But it's surrounded by equally old languages regions. Due to this it has little scope for spread. Tamil will never ever be as popular as Hindi. Hindi has a great advantage due to Devnagri script, shared with many other languages

It is more difficult for a native English speaker to learn Hindi than most other languages. The enunciation is vastly different with similar sounding words and subtle differences

150 called dedh sau in local hindi language. 250 called dhai sau in lacal hindi language. And also can say for 150 = ek say pachaas, and for 250 = do say pachaas.

The word "abacus" is not originally from the Hindi language. However, in Hindi, it is commonly referred to as "संख्या पट्टी" (Sankhya Patti) or "गणक पट्टी" (Ganak Patti), which both translate to "number board" or "counting board
