I have enriched experience of teaching English and good at pedagogy of English. At present, I am a resource person in ‘Pedagogy of English’ at Azim Premji Foundation, Wipro. Earlier I have also served as an assistant professor (taught B.Ed. and M. Ed. Students, Jaipur National University) and served as an English teacher (taught students from class 6th to 10th). I have given home tuition for 6 years.
I did B.A. Hons in English, M.A. in English, B.Ed. and M.Ed. from Aligarh Muslim University and completed Ph.D. in Education. My key skill is to support learners to be able to use English independently and try to be creative at writing. Learners can be assisted to understand rules along with language use and practice. Make teaching interesting by using games and fun activities at primary level and introducing variety of opportunity at higher levels. Passing in exams with good marks does not ensure success at workplace or in higher studies. Along with chapter-based teaching, do focus on developing academic language skills.
Did research work on language issues. While assisting pupil-teachers in English lessons’ planning, always focused on adopting new innovative methods and approaches of teaching language.
