"He is very knowledgeable on Oracle financials and explains things very nicely. Explained basic concepts of accounting also to me which helped a lot in understanding the Oracle financial basics. He gave me detailed notes on the topics. I paid him for 40 hours classes but he gave me classes for few more hours with no additional charge. We also practiced few mock interviews for which he did not charge me anything. Overall very good experience. "

Hey Reetha....You mentioned that you are working in a non-IT field. Can you please explain a bit more about your experience. There are lots of areas which are suitable for people with IT academics and non-IT work ex. I personally have groomed quite a few such candidates. The reality about the IT job market is that you can get into an IT job irrespective of your academics and the various courses. I have worked with IT employees who have a non-IT background. Ultimately it depends on your own interest, expertise, how you are groomed and how you present yourself to a prospective employer. There are quite a lot of options actually. So the course which will actually help you will depend on your interest, expertise and work ex. Like everyone here have mentioned you can go for a variety of courses to get into the IT field. You can go for web designing courses, testing and automation courses or go for some business related courses such as SalesForce, SAP FICO/Sales/ABAP or Oracle DBA/Financials/Supply Change etc. Almost all of these are in high demand right now. However, before deciding on any of these you need to have a sound plan which will help you actually get established in a career of your choice. Else, if at the end of the course you do not get the desired job opportunity you would have wasted a lot of time and money.
