IdentityI am pursuing PhD in Mathematics from Indian Statistical Institute, Bengaluru. I have a tutoring experience of 6 years and teach mathematics to students of class IX, X, XI, XII of all boards, and also BSc students having mathematics as their major or ancillary subject. I teach a few selected branches of pure mathematics to MSc mathematics students as well.
As for my teaching technique, I try to teach from a very basic level by developing a logical sense in the minds of the students and helping them to think analytically and thoroughly understand the basics of the subjects, apart from just sticking to the textbooks and letting them mug up notes. I teach class IX, X, XI and XII students two days per week, one and a half hour each day, and college students one day a week, for two and a half hours a day. I take evaluative tests every month. As for Mathematics, I help my students to get acquainted with all sorts of problems, from the beginner level ones to the more difficult ones, so that they can develop problem solving skills of their own, which helps them in their examinations. At the same time, I always try to put more stress and rigor on the theory portions and foundations, so that they can get the essence of what they are studying.
