Overview

I am pursuing PhD in Mathematics from Indian Statistical Institute, Bengaluru. I have a tutoring experience of 6 years and teach mathematics to students of class IX, X, XI, XII of all boards, and also BSc students having mathematics as their major or ancillary subject. I teach a few selected branches of pure mathematics to MSc mathematics students as well.
As for my teaching technique, I try to teach from a very basic level by developing a logical sense in the minds of the students and helping them to think analytically and thoroughly understand the basics of the subjects, apart from just sticking to the textbooks and letting them mug up notes. I teach class IX, X, XI and XII students two days per week, one and a half hour each day, and college students one day a week, for two and a half hours a day. I take evaluative tests every month. As for Mathematics, I help my students to get acquainted with all sorts of problems, from the beginner level ones to the more difficult ones, so that they can develop problem solving skills of their own, which helps them in their examinations. At the same time, I always try to put more stress and rigor on the theory portions and foundations, so that they can get the essence of what they are studying.

They are enunciated purely on the basis of observation, and no physical phenomenon has been ever reported to violate the laws. But this does not mean that the laws are true and universal. Some day something might occur that may violate the law(s) and then we might need to modify the laws so as to suit those "unusual" observations. The thermodynamical laws are thus naturally different from Newton's laws of motion, the latter being rather defining and axiomatic in nature.

Distance on the other hand is the total length of the path of motion (that is the locus) of the particle. Displacement is thus a vector (under usual notion of "vectors" in physics) while distance is a scalar (under usual notion of "vectors" in physics). The reader should note that the notions of scalars and vectors in physics are somewhat vague and non-rigorous. There is a concept of vectors and scalars in mathematics also that is quite different from that of physics.

The question is incorrect. Speed itself is a scalar quantity. You cannot have different "types" of a scalar quantity (by the term "scalar" I am referring to the non-rigorous concept of "scalar" used in physics). For example you cannot have different "types" of weight. When we say apparent weight, real weight, these are not different types of weight but these are just different "notions" of weight from different "viewpoints". Analogously, instantaneous speed, average speed, tangential speed, radial speed, root mean square speed, all are different "notions" of speed seen from different "viewpoints", but ultimately refer to the same physical quantity speed.

Of course it is. It is of the form 0/q where q is a non-zero integer.

Alpha particles are much heavier (nearly 7000 times) than beta particles and hence have much higher kinetic energy. Further they are larger in size than the beta particles. Also +2 units of charge per alpha particle contributes to ionization by pulling the electrons off the atoms. These result in higher rates of collision of the alpha particles with the atoms than the beta particles and hence alpha rays have higher ionization power.
