I am a Chinese student now studying at Delhi University as an exchange student. I am pursuing MA in Peking University(the number one university in China). I would like to know that for how many months will be needed to learn Chinese language?

It depends on what level you want to achieve and how hard you study. If you work hard enough and are exposed to native circumstance, you can speak simple Chines even with one month. practice and devotion accounts a lot in language learning.
