Hello, I’m Tavishi. I’m from Lucknow, India, where I was born and raised. I’m currently pursuing higher education at Lucknow University. I’m 20 years old and started learning Korean in 2018. Since 2021, I’ve been teaching part-time. I taught individually until August 2022, and since then, I’ve been working at The Language Network. I have 3 years of experience teaching Korean and have been working as a Korean instructor at The Language Network for the past 2 years. I always prioritize teaching in a way that students can understand. Since I speak both Hindi and English, I can use a wider range of sounds when explaining consonants and vowels. Additionally, I always prepare visual aids like cards, YouTube videos, and quizzes to make learning the language interesting for students. Occasionally, I also use exams to check how well students have understood the concepts they have learned. With me, learning will never be boring. I try to keep the atmosphere relaxed by throwing in light jokes during class. I also create a homey environment so that students feel comfortable reaching out and asking questions without hesitation.
