First and foremost thing is there is nothing to worry. Just relax. Just brief the child that she should respond to the questions asked more than this I dont think there is anything required. The child looks up to you if you panic and look worrisome the child will reflect the same. So, boost your child with positive affirmations and make her feel comfortable and confident.

To learn any language, it is essential to be in contact with that particular language. Substitute your basic daily phrases in Kannada and use it as many times as possible slowly you will start getting the hook of the word. I know seven languages to speak. I mastered them by watching daily Soaps/movies/cartoons. You will not only pick the language you will also improve on the accent and style to be delivered.

To improve vocabulary, one should read books/watch television/listen to songs /every day. It cant be done in a day or two it has to be part of your daily routine. Think of the topic of day-to-day issues or discussions at home. Then substitute the commonly known words with the other new words. It will not only help you to remember the words but also help you to get it in practical use. We all know that learning every day five new words will improve our vocabulary, but how many of you do it? None of us does it practically. The most important thing is that one should frame a sentence in such a way that others can understand it. There is no use of fancy vocabulary which will make your simple language more complicated.
