Gupte Academy

GUPTE ACADEMY was established by Principal Gupte a way back in 1966. It has completed 50 years of useful training to the unprivileged students for getting a job in India and abroad. At that time, Bombay ( Mumbai ) was a humming Industrial city. Many Textile Mills, Engineering Companies and various other Companies were producing, manufacturing different items on large scale. All these companies required various types of Trained Persons. In Technical side, Turner, Fitter, Machinist, Welder, Wireman, Carpenter, Patternmakers and Draughtsmen were required. To produce these skilled technical workers, Government started Industrial Training Institute (I.T.I) at Sat Rasta, Mahalaxmi, Bombay. Since People were reluctant to take this training, it was given free and some stipend was also given to the students. The demand for the technically trained workers was more and the outcome of I.T.I was only 20 Students per Course, per Years. Therefore some people started Private Technical Courses and many of their students got secondary jobs
