Anandarup Bhattacharyya

I have been a constant preacher of tabla since my childhood. From my very childhood, I was surrounded in a musical environment because of mother, wherein she used to practice and perform in Indian classical concerts. She had been a constant inspiration for me to take up music seriously and to try doing it professionally. Over the past 15 years, I have been able to mould myself into the immense and vast ocean of tabla and its rhythm. Two years back I got this wonderful opportunity to continue my schooling under the able guidance of the legendary tabla player Pandit Anindo Chatterjee's son, Anubrata Chatterjee and from then onwards the advanced and professional training started to take place. Currently, with blessings of almighty, my parents, my well-wishers and with the grace of my gurus, I was blessed and accepted as a Gandabandh disciple of the legendary maestro Pandit Anindo Chatterjee. I would like to convey all my heartiest wishes and prayers to every other person who takes up music as his/her's important to a segment of life.
