Started learning in 1975.1st performance in 1976.since then performed numerous Solos around India.also accompanied numerous small and big artistes in Hindustani and Carnatic Classical Vocal/ Instrumental/ Dance, Sugam Sangeet, Ghazals, Bhajans, Filmy music, Indian-Western Fusion,etc.performed Tabla Jugalbani with other Tabla, Mridangam and Pakhwaj Players, Taal Vadya Kacheri, and with Indian-Western Fusion groups.

Self taught in playing Keyboards--Piano style (both hands) since 1996.developed unique stlyle of playing popular songs in Piano style with Indian rhythm patterns.

Started teaching Piano in 1997. My style is unique because its based on Piano, but largely modified to suit Indian songs. I DO NOT teach Trinity College and Royal College syllabuses. There are plenty of Teachers doing that. I have my own syllabus which consists of popular, meaningful songs. I have created a proper structured learning curriculum that enables the student to play song WITH BOTH HANDS within a short time. My methods are result-oriented, I don't believe in wasting time by making the student do meaningless things that are of no use to him/her. I am as skilled in teaching as in playing the Piano. I'm able to make the student understand my teaching through various methods, I'm able to analyze a student's problem in playing and help him/her overcome it by providing a solution. I have worked with all age groups starting from 4 years to 75 years, and from very quick bright students to very slow learners. Over the years I have developed endless patience with students, and I strive to maintain a friendly jovial atmosphere in my class, but always maintain control over my students. I am constantly evolving and upgrading myself as a Teacher through my own constant learning whist teaching.
