I am a phonics and spoken English teacher with over three years of experience. I hold an MA in Political Science and am certified in Jolly Phonics. I taught individuals for over three years. In addition, I have over 12 years of experience in journalism and have also worked with various NGOs, teaching Jolly Phonics to children. I am teaching at a training centre called Shardha Coaching Centre and have been an individual trainer with Urban Pro for over three years.
My passion for teaching has led me to work with NGOs in schools, where I help students improve their communication skills through phonics and spoken English lessons. My ultimate goal is to help my students gain confidence in their communication skills and succeed academically and personally. I provide my students with one-on-one online classes and offline home tuition.
My teaching style involves focusing on writing and reading practice and conducting PPT classes. I also provide notes and other materials to my students to help them better understand the concepts taught in class. Every student is unique and requires personalised attention to excel. Hence, I customise my teaching approach to suit the needs of each student. I am a dedicated and experienced phonics and spoken English teacher passionate about helping students improve their communication skills.

Teaching Lippan Art offers a unique and immersive experience that combines creativity, culture and hands-on craftsmanship. The process of guiding others through the intricacies of this traditional Indian art form is very enriching. Lippan Art does have a rich cultural significance. This form of traditional mud and mirror work originates from the Kutch region of Gujrat. It has been used for ceturies to decorate homes. Teaching Lippan Art often begins with the hands on demonstration of how to prepare the base, clay work, mirror work. A a teacher I have to break down all this process into a very easy, interactive way so that students can develop interests in it. A teacher encourages students to experiment with different designs and mirror placement which looks so beautiful. Currently this will be the beginner level workshops one weekends and 20 sessions of course. Students can choose what suits them. Normally there will be not more than 5 students in a batch. Since it is an online workshop/course 5 students is a manageable number. Reference images of Lippan Art work will be shown and students will be encouraged to use their creativity and do the work. Students are always encouraged to make their own design too. It will be a collaborative learning process. The act of shaping clay, and arranging mirrors can help students concentrate and relax. Completion of the work gives immense satisfaction. Students develop skills like precision, hand-eye coordination. Teaching Lippan Art is deeply satisfying experience for the teacher too.
