Right after my post graduation, I got an opportunity to work for inlingua International's Kolkata branch which had just set up in 2004. I was a member of first batch of faculty and underwent intensive training to conduct session for non native learners of English as Second Language (ESL/EFL). I also facilitated business communication sessions for corporates and diplomats. Then I got the opportunity to work for IBM Daksh Gurgaon in 2005 and have been with Daksh till 2014. I have been associated throughout with their Talent Acquisition Team of which training was an integral part. I believe in Inductive methodology of training whether it is for Adults or Children. My sessions are interactive and ample opportunities are given to learners to participate in the learning process. I am a facilitator in the entire learning process and belive in sessions which are iteractive and engaging and filled with activities for learners to benefit from the experential learning. I have consistently performed throughout my stint with the organisation and have been able to deliver above 80% throughput annually. My expertise lies in English Grammar, Accent Neutralization, a range of topics related to Soft Skills like decision making, effective listening, customer service skills how to ace an interview to name a few. As an IBM certified Master Trainer, I was responsible for training, assessing and certifying newly hired trainers.

I have worked with organisations such as inligua Internaional in Kolkata and have been associated with IBM Global Process Services for nearly 9 years. I have all along been into training and development in the field of Communication and Behaviour. I am passionate about training and firmly believe in experenial learning based on adult learning principles. I have trained across geographies and the demographics of the learners are diverse, their ages range from 16 to 50+. I have trained students, interns, front line executives, mid-senior managers,diplomats and others. In my training journey, there are certain lessons that I have imbibed such as being open to various perspectives and views, learners learns best when they are motivated and have clear objectives in mind, training is a two way process where the trainer facilitates the learning process as opposed to the traditional approach whereby the trainers were supposed to download content. I have consistently been able to exceed my KRAs as far as training has been concerned. I have won multiple awards in my organisations and am also an IBM Certified Master Trainer. In this capacity, I have also trained existing and newly hired trainers in IBM and oversaw their final certification.. I have used audio visual aid, neuro language tool to conduct training.
