Though it generates large amount of data, it can not be big data, because it is lacking the variety. Likewise, it needs to fullfill the aforesaid characteristics to be called big data. Some people think also exploring pattern is also part of big data. That is not also true. Data is one thing & its analysis is different thing. Don't confuse them. read less
