"Debleena ma'am is very patient with her students. She makes everyone very comfortable during the class. I have been her student for almost 9 months now. She really focuses her attention on everyone individually - even in a group class. Very happy being her student. "A dancer by profession, I always wanted to learn singing too. Despite starting at the age of 27, ma'am makes me believe it's never late to learn any art. I am extremely blessed to be training under her, who is so giving as a teacher and pushes each of us to the best of our capability. Her patience and passion to teach every single student right from basics is much admired. I travel quite a distance just to learn from her and it is totally worth it. Highly recommend for anybody looking for authentic Hindustani Classical music guidance. "

"The first thing that will strike you is that Debaleena Ma`am is a good person which is one of the most important characteristics of a good teacher. She has decades of experience with Hindustani classical vocals, which enables her to simplify the concepts for newbies while retaining the core. "If you are a beginner and looking to learn right from the basics this is the perfect place. Debaleena Ma'am will start from the basics and give enough time for practice . There are not more than 5 students in each batch , due to which she pays individual attention on every student , correcting us at every point , and sticks to the lesson until everyone has learnt . At the end of each class we are given an assignment , we have to work on it for the rest of week and have to give a test in the next class . Mood of the class is very balanced . 2 hours of learning with fun . Ma'am keeps on advising on how to go about practicing and insists on regular practice . Apart from regular course , she also teaches bhajans and semi classical songs (Ravindra Sangeet) . She is really a great teacher and Mentor . "
