This course is for those who want to become teacher/ instructor in Kathak.

200  hours course has 3 segments 

1. Theory

2. practical

3. internship

those who have knowledge of kathak or does not have can take up this course

the minimum education required 10th or equivalent

minimum age 18 year

candidates learn 2 Aspects of presentation  1. Nritta 2. nritya.  basic from tatkar till tukdas thodas. Tihai, amad  rangpranam, amad   gaths,   in Teen taal and jhaptaal. 

notation writing  Abd recitatikn in teen taal and jhaaptaal. 

In theory introduction of kathak technical terms used in Kathak.  use of stage costume revolutionary eminent gurus about gharanas.

Candidates needs to bring notebook pen pencil, ghungros.

This course is recognised by Unesco CID as membef of the CID. UNESCO PROVIDES THE CERTIFICATE AFTER COMPLETING THEOR PRACTICAL EXAMINATION  and internship.

Will be conducting the internal assessment.

Candidates once completing this course eligible to apply for dance teacher post or can start their own institute can also eligible to take 3rd level of examination
