"I have been learning Veena from ma'am over the past year. She is not just a teacher but a Guru who aims for holistic music education. She aims for training students in different aspects like theory, practice and historical background of Carnatic music. She balances traditional and contemporary methods of teaching for maximum benefit. Ma'am offers online classes via Skype which came in very handy during COVID times. She stresses on spiritual aspects of music by hosting programs during auspicious occasions like Navaratri where all students are encouraged to perform pieces. I'm glad I found such a great teacher to start my Carnatic music journey. "

"I have been attending veena class from an year. Mam is extremely knowledgable and it’s a boon to get such a guru. She is flexible and accommodates student schedules. She also accommodates online/ in-person classes. I have learnt so much from her. She takes solo classes and not group , so individual attention is paid. Theory of every concept is taught and mam pays extra attention to details so that we could apply those when we play instrument . I have recently also enrolled myself and kids to her vocal classes. Lucky to have her as our guru. "

"I am 60 years old. Attending Mrs. Sangeetha's veena classes past 6 months. I like the way she teaches. From senior citizens to little UKG kid , she teaches efficiently& effectively , allotting individual slots . She is also flexible, adjusting the timings , when there is a need. I gained confidence after joining here. She made me feel, age is not barrier in learning veena. My best wishes to her. "

"Am in my nearing 40's IT professional with 2 kids working with an MNC with global teams and who is almost 40 kms away from Mam's home. Sangeetha Mam is our family music Guru and am really happy and feel gifted about it .Happy to have been associated with her for past 2 years. Myself , My teenage daughter and my younger son of 6 years we all are students of Mam. She is a wonderful soul who is very humble, patient and understands my situation and have always been open to genuine asks of flexibility. She really has immense knowledge and knew how to handle students unique strengths and weaknesses and she is very sharp , hard working , sincere . For her young age , I always feel she is way matured . Also her kindness and divinity and her profound knowledge in music had drawn me towards her for lifetime. "As the name is our mam has excellent knowledge about vocal, Veena, theory. I am aged 61 learnt up to 2 geetams in less than 6 months with lots of theory classes also. She is very sincere and honest in teaching and understands our speed of learning and teaching us in a way we are able to practice at home and learn 1 lesson with in 2/3 classes.she sings, play Veena in a divine manner. We are asked to record our day today classes which is helping us to listen again and practice. She makes us we come ready with previous lesson, at this age will be waiting for class and she is very friendly and helpful in putting string,or adjust shruti. Never said no for anything. I personally feel proud and blessed to have her as my teacher. She makes us learn vocal, Veena theory simultaneously. "

"I have been learning for past 1 and half year from sangeeta mam. She is a wonderful teacher with lot of in depth knowledge about veena and vocal. I have never seen anyone taking a theory class for veena but she has made it as a part of our curriculum which expands our knowledge about veena to a great extent. She has given each student individual time and attention which makes especially me to ask and learn so many things. I am greatful for getting such a good teacher and will definitely recommend her if anyone asks me. "

"Sreemati Sangeeta Ji is very talented and knowledgeable teacher. She is skilled singer and an excellent instrumentalist veena player of Karaikudi bani and actively spread the same style to her students. Musical studies with her are both Science and Art; she grooms us and equips us with the science behind the music we learn, and then promotes us to take it to level of art. Even with ocean depth of her knowledge, she is very humble and grounded; she always maintains no question is a bad or stupid question and encourages to ask; She accommodates our busy schedules with adjusting classes in flexible timings; many times when I'm travelling out of city or abroad, she even helps with class over Skype (amazing: considering time difference and odd hours). I'm fortunate to have found my guru (or as the elders say Guru) and learn from her. She has brought the music and its appreciation in real sense to our life! "

"I am learning Veena and vocal from past 5 months. The classes are really very nice. Sangeetha Mam has lots of patients in teaching. I was actually looking for class from past 1 year finally I have landed in the right place. Mam explains everything so nicely. The theory classes are so useful and beneficial. Mam teaches us about the importance of thalam. Mam had also organised a program for Navarathri festival. Even though we are freshers Mam gives an opportunity to all new students to perform. In that way I also got an opportunity to perform with small krithis. I am really very to Sangeetha Mam as my Veena and vocal teacher. Thank you Mam. Thank you urban pro. "

"Before five months i didn't even know the ABCD of Veena. But now because of her training i could play small songs which makes me feel so good and making me to learn more. "She is a very good teacher with deep knowledge in Veena and music. She has undergone systematical learning regarding the concepts, history, importance, various techniques, it's application, etc., in Veena and vocal music. She has learnt many techniques in Veena. Moreover she is a very good guru in making students understand, gain and assimilate such concepts and skills without any skipping and missing. She takes one on one classes, patiently, until the student grasps the concept. Without proper understanding of one concept, she will not skip to another concept in a hurry. She is both a great teacher and a well wisher for every student. She is really an apt teacher for all those, who are searching for a good guru to learn Veena and music with real involvement, interest, love and passion for the art and respect for the tradition of it, not just for the namesake of learning it. "Sangeetha mam has enormous and deep knowledge in Carnatic music. Her teaching methods in Veena are amazing as they are very structured and methodical. She makes the student think on their own while guiding them in every little detail by giving all the attention to make sure that they understand the concept both theoretically and practically. She makes sure that the basics are understood right and hence it becomes very strong to the student , which distinguishes her a lot from other teachers.
