Having said that, depending on which service you want to learn and if that is available for free, you are safe. Else, I would always recommend checking for the price details of that serivce by visiting https://aws.amazon.com/pricing and selecting/understanding price implications before start.
In my experience, what ever is required for Solutions Architect or Developer or Systems Operations admin, you can learn most of the services with ut-most speding Rs300.

AWS Developer Associate is one of the easiest of all the AWS Certifications, provided you are a develper with atlest 2 years of experience in any high level languages like Java or Python. You should have some working knowledge in large scale projects where you understand the day-to-day activities of a developer.

AWS Certifications are one of the most sought course in the IT industry. AWS offers 10 different cerrtifications starting from begineer called Associate, then next level Professional and Speciality Certificates.
There are 4 Associate level Certifications and it costs USD 150 per certification.
There are 2 Professional Certifications and it costs USD 300 per certification.
and There are 4 Speciality Certifications and it costs USD 300 per certification.
You can also use Test Certification for USD 20 before appearing for the actual certification.
One thing you should keep in mind before writing these exams is, AWS not only tests knowledge in their services, it also expects that you are working in the relevant industry and you are well versed with the related domain / technology. The questions are scenario based which expects you to know more than just AWS. Also, you should have worked for a minimum of 1 year in the domain before appearing for the exam for you to understand the questions.
