Alaap Music Academy

AALAP MUSIC ACADEMY:
The Aalap Music Academy: An Institute for Hindustani Classical Music established in 2005, at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It has been affiliated by the Prayag Sangit Samiti, Allahabad, in January,2008. The Samiti is an Organization registered under the Indian Societies Registration Act of 1860. The Institute provides a tranquil and serene atmosphere to the students. Teachers from different parts of the country and various cultural backgrounds are teaching in this institution. Academy has been playing the role of a torch bearer in the world of Hindustani classical music, and it can legitimately pride itself in having achieved high reputation for consistently upholding the highest and richest traditions of this sublime art. The academy offers Diploma course, which recognized by the Centre/State Government, a number of Educational bodies and Universities.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ACADEMY:
The objectives of the academy are to provide instructions in all branches of Music, to make provisions for learning Hindustani Classical Music and dissemination of knowledge thereof.
