domestic and international tourism provides integration of people and cultures.

If you consider domestic tourism in for example India, we have different states with different cultures and languages. Even food habits of the people are different from state to state. We have only one god but people in different states worship in a different way. People also travel to various parts of a country for pleasure like Goa,Ooty, Munnar, manas, etc.,  What we come to know after all these, man is a social being so man wants to know different cultures and traditions. As we are social beings we respect the culture of different states. We learn different languages, learn how to respect people and elders.

One example i want to say is we people already forgot how to respect elders. In olden days people used to take blessings from elders by touchong their feet but today we don't. In some states of northen states of India this culture is still following by the people.

Comes to the International tourism : People from all the different countries like culture of India because it is culture is disciplined. Even yoga is being followed by the people in differnet countries. Relationship among the people can be seen in India like joint families and husband-wife-children relationships but we cannot see these relationships in western countries.

We can tranfer technology from different countries because we are lagging in that

example: USA, Japan - both countries are good at technology. Toyota which introduced lean manufacturing inspired from the USA.

As a part of tourism revenue comes to the service industry to both domestic and international

examples like: booking hotels, taxies, guides etc.

In this way tourism helps in building values.
