Hello Gaurav,
I am a physics teacher having experience of 9 years in IIT JEE coaching classes.If you want to prepare for IIT JEE then you have two options
1. 4 year integrated course class 9th to 12th
2. 2 year integrated course class 11th and 12th
if your financial condition is good then you should opt for 4 years course because it will build your foundation ver strong and you can also fight scholarship exams like NTSE, Olympiad etc. and your knowledge base will expand..there will be 3 days classes in a week so you will get enough time for self study also....
and if you opt for 2nd option then atleast make your maths and science a strong subject with help of your teacher or self study then start praparing for IIT JEE from class 11th by taking coaching..
i have one more thing to say that Nothing is impossible.. i have seen students who cracked good ranks in IIT by these two options and even some cracked with self study...so discipline and motivation is must for this journey to become an IITIAN...in my opinion option 1st is much better.

There are preferred syllabus to crack IIT exams which you need to start preparing from your earliest from class 6th onwards, still no issues that your in 8th can easily trainup n brushup all the basic things. Basic knowledge in science, mental ability in maths which all comes from gradual practice from lower class until u reach 12th. Fine school eg Narayana olympiad , they have have jee n iit syllabus not only that u can still fine many other schools so that u can definitely get through IIT for sure and pleasent all the best to you.

1. start your studies with basic and previous year questions nothing else
2. divide ur studies in 3 parts
1st 9th and 10 th academic year.give more time to clear basic concepts
2nd 11th std refer reference books and previous year questions and
3rd 12 th std final studies
this format will be helpful to reduce study pressure and you will manage time also
