Answer Mahendra was a junior supervisor at construction site who had a transferrable job.
He had a cook named Iswaran who used to accompany him to different places.
Iswaran had a habit of reading Tamil thriller stories during his spare time.
Mahendra used to listen to his stories patiently without finding any flaws.
One day he narrated him a story about a ghost woman holding a foetus in a full moon night.
The story terrified Mahendra and one day he heard some sound near his window.
He initially ignored the sound but the noise grew louder.
He looked out of the window and saw exactly what Iswaran claimed of seeing: a woman holding a foetus.
He was unable to sleep.
Mahendra was very disturbed and upset and resigned on the very day.
