Types Of Numbers:
- Natural Number: All the counting nos. are called natural nos. Example: 1,2,3, etc
- Even natural number: These nos are divisible by 2. Example: 2,4,6, etc.
- Odd natural number: These are nos which are not divisible by 2. Example 3,5,7, etc.
- Prime number: These are the nos which are not divisble by any no. and are only divisible by themselves. Example: 2 ,3,5,7,11,13,17,19, etc.
- Coprime Number: The nos in which the highest common factor is 1. Example 17 and 29.
- Whole Number: They are same as natural nos. Only '0' is included in this set.
- Integers: All nos including negative nos and the number zero are called integers. Example: 1,-2,0,1,2.
- Rational and irrational numbers: Any number which can be expressed in the form of p/q, and q is not 0, is a rational number. Example 3/5 ,4/1. Irrational no is whose answer is in the form of non terminating or terminating decimal such that √2=1.414, √3=1.732.
