The first approach is to create a class library and write you connection open, close and command execution code in that class library. Compile and Build your class library and then Add the .dll file of your class library to the ASP.Net project folder. All you need to do to use the functions written in class library is to add the namespace on your page. Remember your free to have class library in VB and ASP.Net Site in C# or vice versa and .Net Framework's MSIL would come to your rescue or you can have both of them in same language. 2.
