I am a student of sociology and gender studies. I am interested in a range of things starting from Bollywood to Politics. Currently I'm specialising in Gender Studies. Given my years in education I can honestly vouch for my talkative side that will surely make one engage in interesting debates and conversations. I believe social sciences are made hard by textbooks and traditional methods of teaching. So I believe our life experiences are the best teachers and our histories of life can best make us engage with the texts. I have learnt only by attaching myself to the society and not by confining myself in a closed institutional space. I am sure my personal experiences with above would reflect in my teaching methods. At the end of the day all of us are learners, learning from and inspiring one another. I look upto my students as co creators of knowledge and experience in this interactional process of exchange and together we can make every complicated text fun and easy
