Hello I am Tania Sarkar and my profession is teaching.I am working as an English teacher in an ICSE school.I am having experience of more than 7 years.Coming to my educational qualifications I have done Masters in English and done B ed in order to become a trained teacher.I have also done MBA which adds to my professional qualification.Adding to that I have also done a Certificate course in Communication and Personality Development to enhance my interpersonal skills.

My hobbies are reading books of different genres ,music and exploring new places.I also have an interest in culinary art. Teaching is not only my profession but also my passion.The moment I start delving with the lessons and interacting with my students I am totally transformed into a new world of Literature.The characters come to life from fiction to reality and the whole imagination helps the students to understand their lessons well.I try to simplify and make my teaching easy by making the session interesting with new and innovative methods of teaching.For me each child is different and unique in their own way.Everyday is a learning experience for my students as well as me.I believe knowledge is power and a pen is mightier than a sword.I always try to imbibe in my students not only academic lessons but also life lessons which help them to become better human beings in life. There is a child in every one of us and I keep the child alive in me through my students.It's so much fun to interact with the zealous minds who all are the future of the country.It really gives me satisfaction and contentment in my heart when I see my students coming out in flying colours. As a teacher I believe there is no shortcut to success and there is no substitute for hard work.So therefore in order to deliver my lessons well I always do my homework so that I can give my best. Rest when you interact with me you will come to know more of me.

My role as a teacher includes training and grooming students in order to participate in competitions like Extempore, Recitation,Slogan Writing and Cartoon Making, Essay and Poem writing competitions.
Conducting academic lessons by implementing lesson plans and relevant worksheets in order to understand the students' comprehension about the lessons taught.
Conducting revision and doubt solving classes in order to ensure complete conceptualization and base.
Conducting tests in order to know the level of the students' ability.
Assisting in co curricular activities of the school like conducting Drama and skits.
Working as a Sub Editor in the school magazine.
