You should start with lettering & drawing lines and planes with HB or H pencil and neatness of drawing will have special advantage. Then learn different methods of projection and sectioning. Once you are cdlear with these concepts go for machine drawing or object drawing.

Dear Amar, Before initiating the engg drwaing, you must go through the concepts of quadrant (1st and 3rd - as per syllabus). then understand the logic of fronts view, side view and top view. And above all- go for how to mark dimensioning.
