"Investment in Art" course is a tough to find in India, though Faculty of fine arts, M.S. University, baroda is offering a course of such kind. Abroad you can find such courses conducted by some museums and institutions, but I fear that is more focused on western art. There are several talks and seminars held at India Art Fair, Delhi every year around January or February. You can attend those seminars. Apart from that learning about Indian art history through books, visiting galley, meeting with curators will help you a lot. Investors do tend to hire there own curators to guide them through buying process, which will be lucrative in future. One need to be in touch with art events to know it better, there are no short cuts. Investing in Art is itself a process of Art itself which with involvement and time one will master. read less
