I prefer a presentation than a whiteboard because writing in a whiteboard might not be visible for all students having different networks. A whiteboard in apps like zoom can also be used by students who would divert the class. So I would prefer a presentation for clear understanding which can also be used as a reference for students later. It is not mandatory, but if a student needs, he or she can have one because ultimately the student has to be benefitted.
