In Initial days Most of the students have not studied Economics as a separate subject so they easily can't understand .Then come the textbooks containing the content,if the course is of Microeconomics then the student had to be explained what do you mean by micro and then what importance it holds for us, then about demand and supply relationships each products have and how it will affect the price of the particular .Provide them with proper notes and supplement their concept with relating to day to day examples so they can easily hold them for long. Ask them to solve some question relating to it from their textbooks or some different source. Then there is Statistics proportion which consists of use of some Mathematics Concept also like mean,median ,mode and others .For the numerical ,the approach explaining the concept then what actually you get by applying the formula, then solving 1 or 2 question by me.Then move ahead.
