Answer To add lighting in Google SketchUp, first click on the "Window" tab at the top of the screen and select "Shadows." In the Shadows window, make sure that shadows are turned on by checking the box next to "Use sun for shading." Then, go back to the "Window" tab and select "Components." In the Components window, choose "Lights" from the drop-down menu. Select a light fixture from the list and drag it into your model where you want the light to be placed. You can adjust its size and brightness using the Scale tool and Entity Info window. Finally, go back to the Shadows window and adjust the time of day and date to see how your lighting will look at different times.
