Dear all we know that sentence is the base of any language. Before learning about the sentence. I ask you to have a look at things surrounding you now. For instance, if you are at home, you will be sitting in a chair, and things were surrounding you will be television, table, laptop, curtain, fan, air conditioner etc. At any point, if in case you are not sure about the alternate words of the things you said in English from your mother tongue. It means most of the words we use in our day to day life are from the English Language. Then why we are not confident in speaking the English language? Its purely we don't know how to group the words to form a sentence.

The sentence is nothing but the group of words which gives a complete meaning. Every sentence in English has a combination of subject and verb.

Sentence pattern : subject + verb + predicate
Subject: Name of a person, thing or place
Verb: used to define the action
Predicate: something which is done to the subject

Example: The boy stood on the table

Boy: subject
Stood: verb
On the table: predicate
