Handwriting Analysis, also known as Graphology is a highly specialized technique. It is built on scientific method of conclusions drawn on common sense, universal concepts, psychological interpretations and empirical research. Hence, when properly done, it gives a fair degree of accuracy as compared to several other mystical streams. Besides, it is much simpler and inexpensive as compared to psychological or psychometric tests.

Regarding courses in Graphology, in India there is no government or university recognition for any of the institutes or courses. Worldwide there are many courses, but they charge heavily. However they ensure competence by properly training and testing the students and hence have standing in the world. Some of the Institutes in India are having misleading names, but have no standing in the world since they award certificates to everyone who pays the fees.
