This may look like a common and generic questions. But still I want to know whether I have to buy an electric guitar or a acoustic guitar?

The world would be more harmonious if only there were more musicians.

If you're a beginner yes it is advised to start with an acoustic. You can get clean sound on an electric as well but I would suggest you buy an electric when you are good at playing and spending all that money becomes worth it.

if you are really passionate about music/guitar. you should have both. but if you are a beginner, without any 2nd thought, go for the acoustic.
