So the feel while playing diff and also the strumming styles will be different based on the effect used on the electric one and the chord shapes will be different,

How can I start learning guitar on my own?
You definitely need a teacher because the all the stuff on the internet is not correct and as a beginner you will not be able to differentiate between the correct and wrong ways of doing certain things.

Sometimes while practicing Guitar, my fingers hurts and have deep grooves in them, should I stop practicing?
No, you should not stop practicing guitar. Practice guitar at least 45 min daily. Just give break for resting fingers. The regular practice will make hard skill at edge of finger and you will be fine to play guitar without having pain in long run.
