What is the difference between classical and acoustic guitar?

My teaching experience 12 years

The basic difference is the strings used. Forclassical guitars its mostly nylon strings. Whereas acoustic is metal strings.

Both styles of guitar are actually Acoustic guitars but Classical models have nylon strings whereas the more modern instruments, which are referred to as Acoustic guitars, have steel strings. The two types of strings feel and sound very different. Nylon strings are thicker and sound more mellow.

Completely depends on how much you practice. The instrument gives back what you give to it. Also I feel one keeps on learning. Yes you could start playing chords of your favourite songs in 2 months dedicated practice time.

Yes, Why not ? You can learn through tutorial vedio but you can not learn so many things without having teacher like there are many technics.
