I studied PCM as my final year course and that thought process always reflected in my attempts to understand food. I got my first job in the kitchen of Café Lota, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi as a kitchen trainee when I was 17. It was the place where I developed a particular love for the Indian Cuisines. 7 years later I had explored through brands such as Farzi Café, Masala Library by Jiggs Kalra, Papaya, Café Dori, Rustom’s Parsi Bhonu, etc through multiple major cities grinding and rising my way to a sous chef running a kitchen expressing my own understanding of the regional Indian cuisines at Raahi- Neo Kitchen and Bar in Bangalore. The pandemic spoilt the party, certainly, but it gave me a chance to come back home and reflect upon what I really like. Cooking and sharing conversations and ideas about food with similar thinking people. So I found this platform in attempt to make an honest living as we march forward through these difficult times.
