It is excellent that you are from CSE branch as India has a vast scope in the IT industry.
There are various options to start as a fresher:
Backend end developer (JAVA, Python, C++)
Front end develoer (Javascript, HTML,CSS, React JS)
Testing (manual and automation)
Data Science(R, Python, Tableau)
So, my suggestion for you would be first to identify your area of interest for the above mention,
Research about these, as your career on end, will depend upon it only. Then start preparing the essential technology requirement of the chosen domain. It will give you an edge from other candidates for sure. You can learn about all this technology easily online. Once your preparation is done, you can start applying for a job through different job portals and other mediums.
