"Abir Khalil is quite a cheat. She took money but never completed the classes. She demanded more money calling the earlier payment as security deposit. I was wondering security towards what? On query she told that she had mentioned it in some fine print in some form she had sent. Really crazy. Her classes too are like a race against time where she hardly focuses on the student's needs. I have complained about her to urbanpro too. She takes money bypassing the urbanpro app so they too are not doing anything about it. In nutshell she is a crook best avoided. "

With all due respect, the course PDF that was shared with you clearly stated the payment terms that you missed. I have tried my best to communicate with you and resolve the matter but you had already made up your mind. I do not wish to stretch it any further. The very fact that your review out of the 43 reviews that I have is the only bad one, speaks for itself.

I still remember how Mishika initially took some time to settle in with the online classes but you as a parent believed in her and were very supportive and let her keep at it. "My daughter attended Abirs classes for about a year. She is an excellent artist. We love her work. They are so full of life, are vibrant and a feast to the eye. In class: She sketches/paints/does origami and most of the work are inspired from our surrounding objects/nature. She talks about the work first and gives a perspective, what to expect, so the students are motivated. She is very patient and goes through every students work, giving them constructive criticism and also allowing them to be creative. She guides them and does not restrict/force them to do things in a certain way. My daughter admires her and is motivated to do more/give her best in every class. She is an awesome artist and teacher. "The five months comprising the five terms of this level were absolutely wonderful. I did learn a boatload of things. Also, I was able to get over the bit of wariness I had regarding watercolours. I have actually started enjoying them for the fun medium they are and feel much more confident.The perspective term was quite technical which I actually loved because I always wanted to know how things were sketched according to the view and positioning and everything. Also all of the concepts will be helpful regardless of the media, so that was great too. I had to miss a part of the pencil shading terms due to personal reasons. Regardless, however much I did attend was more than enough for me to want to return back to it, which I plan to do. The projects and assignments picked by the instructor had just the right mix of being fun to work on, while still pushing our abilities and concepts. But then, it would be a bit harsh to refer to Abir as the instructor, since she's been more of a friend in being as patient and kind as she has been. The classes have not been even a bit tedious, and each one has been a wealth of knowledge, especially the little tricks and the subtler points. This is without even taking into account how accomplished an artist she is, which might be of essence to many of those interested, and, which will become evident as one attends the classes, since it's in the format of a 'lets draw it together'. All in all, absolutely loved every bit of it. "
