Course TA to the Biophysics Course for first year medical students.
The course will provide students with an introduction to the conceptualization
of different biophysical principles and the medical application of these
principles. In the course, students will be provided with a brief introduction to
basic principles in physics followed by textual, graphical, and mathematical
descriptions of different biophysical principles, and how these principles are
applied in the medical field.
Course Objectives:
To teach conceptualization of different fundamental principles in biophysics.
To teach how different biophysical concepts are applied in medicine.
To provide an overview of different medical imaging modalities.
I have currently completed my tenure as a Scientific Assistant in the Nuclear Medicine Department which was for about 12 years and I have had the privilege to work with some of the best Professors and Doctors in the Biophysics Department for which I was basically involved.
To assist the Professor in the Clinical M.Sc. program,in teaching and developing the course as required by the Coordinator which has been created to run parallel to the professional training. The department has carried the principal responsibility of these programs leading to growth and development of nuclear medicine service in the community.
I have had the privilege and honor to work under some of the highly skilled and efficient Doctors and Professors in my work here as the Scientific Assistant. Some of the task entrusted to other than teaching was to help out the Doctor and Professors in their research work in numerous articles and Books
